WHO IS TRINITY RODMAN
At 18, Trinity Rodman made history as the youngest player ever drafted into the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) when the Washington Spirit took her second overall in the 2021 NWSL College Draft. During her rookie season, Rodman started 22 of 25 games.
She scored seven goals, including two game-winners, and led the league with seven assists. Rodman helped the Washington Spirit to its first NWSL championship over the Chicago Red Stars and earned NWSL Rookie of the Year, NWSL Best XI, and U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year honors following her first season in 2021.
Trinity is an All-American Superstar.

Trinity Rodman is now the highest-paid player in the league, and many consider her the future of American Soccer. Her four-year deal is reportedly worth $1.1 million, including an annual base of $281,000, more than Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe’s $250,000.

TRINITY AND DENNIS RODMAN’S RELATIONSHIP
Superstar soccer player Trinity Rodman said she was “extremely emotional” after her father, Dennis Rodman, made a surprise visit to one of her games.
“This last game was an extremely emotional one,” Trinity wrote on Instagram. “Yes Dennis rodman showed up to an Nwsl game, but also my dad, after YEARS surprised me at a big game in my career, I was shocked, overwhelmed, happy, sad, everything.
“My dad doesn’t play a big role in my life at all and most people don’t know that, we don’t see eye to eye on many things. I go months if not years without his presence or communication. Being in spotlights has been hard for us, him and me. We don’t have the best relationship, but at the end of the day he’s human I’m human… he’s my dad, and I’m his little girl that will never change. I will improve and look forward everyday as I hope he does.”
Dennis Rodman has been public about his shortcomings as a father. “The only major, major demon I have right now is trying to convince myself that I am a good dad,” he told ESPN in 2019. “It’s very hard for me to try to break out of that cycle.”
We are happy to see Trinity and Dennis Rodman hugging it out, and we fully support her on and off the soccer field.
TRINITY RODMAN MOTHER
Michelle Moyer is one proud mama.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Michelle first met Dennis Rodman at a bar in 1999. Both lived in Newport Beach, California. After getting married in 2003 on Dennis’42nd birthday, Rodman revealed they had no intention of sharing a living space. “We won’t live together,” Rodman told the newspaper at the time. “I like it like that. She and the kids come over on weekends.” The two later filed for divorce a year later in 2004.
It’s no secret that Trinity’s mother is her rock, with the soccer star repeatedly calling Michelle her hero. The 19-year-old loves sharing photos with her mom on Instagram, depicting their loving relationship.

Trinity began. “She is perfect in her own way. The fact that I get to be with her today for her bday is filling me with joy. I can’t even begin to explain how much this amazing woman has done for me.”
She continued, “You are strong, independent, caring, selfless, witty, and so much more. Whenever I need anything you are right there to help or fix a problem even when I say I don’t need it . I wouldn’t be where I am today if u weren’t here by my side through it all. I just wish the whole world knew how rad you are. Love u tons mommy can’t wait for today.”
Trinity said in an interview with the Guardian, “Having a dad like I do, no one asks about my mom because she’s obviously not an NBA star, but I just want people to know that my mom’s been my support system in everything in life and she’s my best friend and my rock,” Trinity said. “I don’t think people know how close we are and, even though she wasn’t in the NBA, she has an extremely competitive and driven mindset, and she’s an extremely strong woman. She’s my role model.”
